GULF SWIMMING HONORS COACHES, SWIMMER, VOLUNTEER

(September 23, 2006) Derek Howorth and Clayton Cagle of the Cy-Fair Swim Club were honored as the Age Group and Senior Coaches of the Year respectively, at the 2006 Gulf Swimming Awards Banquet at the Marriott Westchase Hotel in Houston.
In addition, Cy-Fair Swim Club swimmer Lizze Gormley was honored with the Pauline Phillips Award and Scott Byrum was honored with the Conoco/Phillips Outstanding Service Award.
Gulf Swimming is the official governing body for comeptitve swimming in the Texas gulf coast region and is a member of USA Swimming and the United States Olympic Committee.
